Volunteering at ICIS
Current volunteering opportunities at ICISICIS is supported and encouraged by a team of volunteers who help with the many essential administrative tasks involved in running, maintaining and developing an information resource.
These tasks can include:
- data entry (using Access databases or Excel spreadsheets)
- gathering information by phone
- photocopying
- organising mailings
- dealing with correspondence
- maintaining display material
- gathering new information
- library work
- website data entry
Volunteers are normally asked to commit to at least two hours per week, either morning or afternoon between 9am and 4.30pm.
Opportunities for short-term work experience placements may also be possible. Full training and supervision is provided and travel expenses to ICIS are reimbursed.
