Emergency Alert Card Scheme for Carers in West Sussex

The carer’s emergency alert card scheme immediately tells anyone that someone depends on you in the event that you were taken ill. Should something happen to you, the West Sussex emergency services will immediately inform someone you know about the situation you’re in.

Through the Emergency Alert Card Scheme for West Sussex Carers, both you and the person you’re caring for will have peace of mind whenever you have to leave him or her alone for a while.

A joint project between the County Council of West Sussex, Emergency Lifeline Services, West Sussex County Services, in addition to the District and Borough Councils, the emergency alert card scheme has more than 1400 registered carers from the West Sussex area.
